Bryan Vela
Hello 👋! I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine (Cum Laude, GPA 3.93/4.00), where I specialized in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
My research interests center on probabilistic machine learning, generative modeling, and representation learning. I am especially motivated by physical artificial intelligence, where the goal is to build systems that understand and act within complex real-world environments. I hope to develop generative approaches that learn meaningful structure, model uncertainty, and support intelligent behavior in physical systems. More specifically, I am excited about advancing the foundations that allow generative AI to support perception, reasoning, and interaction in the physical world.
